Days worth chartering a boat for

Not every trip needs a week. Six hours around the three Gilis, an evening in the channel for the sunset, or a whole boat for the day you have been planning for a year.

How a day works

One boat, one group, no timetable

Every experience on this page is a private charter. The boat is yours for the block of hours you book, the route is adjusted on the day, and nobody else is on deck.

Rates are quoted per boat rather than per person, so the cost per head falls as the group grows. A sail catamaran carrying up to 14 starts at USD 1,330 for the day.

What does a private day charter cost?

From USD 1,330 per boat for a sail catamaran carrying up to 14 guests as of August 2026. Power catamarans for 20–30 guests start near USD 1,910, motor yachts at USD 1,880. Everything is priced per boat, so the cost per person falls as the group grows.

How long is a typical day?

Six to eight hours is the standard full-day format and what the three-Gili loop needs. Half days run four hours, and speedboat charters can be booked in blocks of two, four, six or eight hours.

Where do we board?

Most day charters leave from Lombok's northwest coast around Medana Bay, Teluk Nara or Senggigi. Secret Gilis trips depart from Gili Gede in Sekotong Bay, and Pink Beach trips from the southern harbours.

Can we combine two experiences in one day?

Often, yes. Snorkelling and the Secret Gilis pair naturally, as do a Gili loop and a sunset return. Pink Beach and the Gilis do not — they sit on opposite coasts and need separate days.
