Lombok to the Gilis privately

Thirty to sixty minutes dock to dock, leaving when your group is ready. Shaded decks, room to move, and crew who handle the bags — instead of a fixed schedule and a wet landing.

Private versus public

Your clock, not the timetable

Public fast boats run fixed schedules and fill their cabins, with luggage stacked and wet landings common at Trawangan and Gili Air. A private yacht leaves when you are ready, and the crew handle the bags.

The cost gap is smaller than most people expect. A sail catamaran up to 14 guests starts at USD 1,330 per day, which often compares well against a stack of fast-boat tickets plus the transfers at both ends.

How long it takes

From the Senggigi or Teluk Nare area, in typical conditions.

30–40

Motor Yacht Or Power Cat

Minutes to Gili Trawangan. The same hull then continues to Meno and Air as a loop, which is what makes a three-island day realistic.

45–60

Sail Catamaran

Minutes on the same crossing. Slower, quieter, and with far more deck to spread out on once you arrive.

To The Jetty You Want

Guests step from a Lombok vehicle transfer straight onto the yacht, then off at the closest suitable jetty or tender drop near their villa. Valued most with young children, older parents, or bulky dive and surf gear.

Questions

Before you commit

Ask us directly

How long is the crossing to the Gilis?

Thirty to forty minutes on a motor yacht or power catamaran from the Senggigi or Teluk Nare area, and forty-five to sixty on a sail catamaran, depending on conditions. The same yacht can then loop Trawangan, Meno and Air.

What does a private yacht to the Gilis cost?

From USD 1,330 per boat per day for a sail catamaran carrying up to 14 guests as of August 2026, including crew and snorkelling gear. For a group, that often compares well against multiple fast-boat tickets plus transfers at both ends.

Why not take the public fast boat?

Fixed schedules, full cabins, stacked luggage and wet landings. A private charter leaves when your group is ready, gives you shaded deck space, and the crew handle the bags — which matters most with children, older parents or dive and surf gear.

Can you drop us near our villa?

Yes. Guests step from a Lombok vehicle transfer onto the yacht and disembark at the closest suitable jetty or tender drop-off point to their villa or resort, rather than at whichever pier the schedule dictates.
