When is the best time for a honeymoon yacht charter in Lombok?

The dry season from May through October offers the calmest seas and the most reliable sunsets, which is why it is the prime charter window across Lombok, Bali, and Komodo. The shoulder weeks at either end of that window are quieter and often better value, while the December–February wet season brings a higher chance of afternoon rain — workable for flexible couples, but we will advise honestly on your specific dates.

Can you arrange a surprise proposal on board?

Yes, and it is one of our most requested formats. The captain and crew are briefed in advance on the exact timing, the decoration is set before boarding, and a photographer can be positioned discreetly so the moment is captured without being staged. Nothing is revealed to your partner at any point before you choose.

How many guests can join a honeymoon charter?

These packages are designed for two and capped at six, which keeps the boat, the crew's attention, and the anchorage choice genuinely intimate. For larger celebrations — a joint honeymoon with friends, or a vow-renewal with family — we can quote a bigger vessel as a separate charter.

Do we need to be staying in Lombok to charter?

No. Couples board from the northwest coast near the Gilis or from the Sekotong area in the southwest, and day charters work perfectly well for guests staying on Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, or the Lombok mainland. If you are based in Bali, we will advise on the fast-boat and flight connections, or fold the charter into a full Bali–Lombok itinerary through our concierge partners.

Can our honeymoon cruise continue to Komodo?

Yes. Two- to five-night crossings from Lombok toward Komodo National Park — via Sumbawa's coastline and Komodo's Pink Beach — are a well-established route in the May–October season. We arrange these longer expeditions with Komodo Luxury's fleet, and the earlier you enquire, the better the vessel selection for your dates.

From a private deck you can reach the three famous Gilis in a single relaxed day, or slip south into Sekotong Bay where the Secret Gilis are often completely empty on a weekday morning.

What is the best time of year?

May through October. Seas are calm and rainfall is low, which is what deck dinners, drone photography and open-water swims need. Outside that window the shorter, sheltered itineraries still run well.

Where do we board?

The northwest coast near Medana Bay for Gili itineraries, or the Gili Gede area in the southwest for the Secret Gilis and longer voyages. Hotel pickup can be added either way.

Can you help with a proposal?

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons couples book. The crew can be briefed on the timing, a photographer can join, and the deck can be dressed before you board so nothing has to be assembled in front of you.

Is an overnight charter private?

Entirely. The boat is yours — an ensuite air-conditioned cabin, a chef, and an anchorage chosen for how quiet it is rather than how close it is.
