Four Hours
Two anchorages. Works well as a Gili transfer with a snorkel stop, a Sekotong morning, or a sunset run. Not enough for the three-island loop, and we will say so rather than sell it.
The two standard formats, and an honest answer about which one your trip actually needs. A half day covers two stops properly. A full day covers five.

A half day is four hours and realistically covers two anchorages — enough for one island and one reef, or a transfer with a swim stop attached.
A full day is six to eight hours and lets the captain order five sites around the tide rather than racing between the two that fit. If snorkelling or the three Gilis are the point, take the full day.

Four or five stops, with the running order set by tide and current rather than by the clock. The format the three-Gili loop, a snorkelling day and any south-coast trip all need.
The dry season, May to October, gives calm seas and twenty to thirty metres of visibility around the Gilis and Sekotong Bay. Outside it, shorter sheltered itineraries still run well.

The classic. Needs the full six to eight hours to do properly.

The dry season, roughly May to October, brings calm seas and underwater visibility of twenty to thirty metres around the Gili Islands and Sekotong Bay. It is also the busiest window, so dates go early.
The whole boat with crew, snorkelling gear and a tender on every format. Lunch and soft drinks on full days. Hotel pickup from Senggigi, Mataram or Kuta Lombok can be added.
Largely, yes. We agree a shape beforehand so the crew can provision and fuel for it, but the captain re-orders stops on the day around the tide and the sea state, and you can call for longer at any of them.

Tell us what you want to see and we will tell you honestly which format it needs — including when a half day is genuinely enough.
