Private fishing charter

Some of the least crowded sport fishing water in Indonesia. Your own boat, an English-speaking crew, a proper safety briefing before lines go in, and a written price before you commit.

Why we built it differently

Booked in writing not on the dock

Most fishing in Lombok is still sold dockside, in cash, with no fixed boat, no life jackets counted and no way to ask a question in English the night before.

We hold our fishing boats to the standard of a yacht charter: briefed crew, maintained safety equipment, a confirmed itinerary in writing, and one point of contact from the first message to the moment you step off the boat.

Why Lombok is serious

All within a day

Unusual for any island: three genuinely different fisheries inside a single day trip.

01

The Lombok Strait

Deep ocean squeezed between two islands. Strong currents push bait through it year-round, and where bait concentrates the pelagics follow. Trolling the edges and current lines raises Spanish mackerel, wahoo and tuna without running far from shore.

02

The Southern Coast

The bays and headlands around Awang, Gerupuk and Ekas drop away quickly into blue water. Reef edges hold giant trevally, jobfish and snapper, and the points fish well for casting and jigging when conditions allow.

03

Offshore FADs

Local fishermen maintain rumpon — anchored floating structures that gather baitfish well offshore. They are where mahi-mahi and tuna concentrate, and reaching them is what a proper boat buys you.

Questions

Before you commit

Ask us directly

What can we catch off Lombok?

Mahi-mahi, wahoo, tuna and Spanish mackerel on the troll through the Lombok Strait and around the offshore FADs. Giant trevally, jobfish and snapper on the reef edges and points along the southern coast. As with all fishing, nothing is guaranteed.

How is this different from booking on the dock?

Dockside fishing in Lombok is usually cash, no fixed boat, no counted safety equipment and no way to ask questions in English beforehand. We confirm the boat, brief the crew, count the equipment and put the itinerary and price in writing first.

Where do the trips go?

Three different waters, all reachable in a day: the deep current lines of the Lombok Strait, the reef drop-offs around Awang, Gerupuk and Ekas on the south coast, and the offshore FADs the local fleet maintains.

Is tackle provided?

Yes — trolling, casting and jigging gear is on board. Bring your own if you prefer; there is deck space for it and the crew will work around your setup.
