How a dive charter differs
The boat follows the dive plan
On a day-boat holiday you commute. On a liveaboard you sleep on board and reach the site at first light, which is when the Gilis, Moyo, Satonda and Komodo are at their best and emptiest.
Compressors, tanks, a proper dive deck and briefings form the backbone of each day. More in-water time, smoother surface intervals, and conditions you can actually plan around — particularly at seasonal sites like Manta Point and Taka Makassar.

Night Dives
Included on the longer routes, at anchorages chosen for the shelter as much as the reef.
How many dives per day?
Typically three to four, including night dives on the longer itineraries. The schedule is built around the dive plan rather than marina hours, so surface intervals are spent moving between sites rather than commuting from shore.
What does a diving liveaboard cost?
Private Lombok to Komodo diving itineraries start around USD 5,900 for a 4D3N as of August 2026, for the whole boat. National park fees and domestic flights are quoted separately, not bundled into that figure.
Which routes can we dive from Lombok?
The core route runs east: check dives at Gili Trawangan or Meno, optionally the Secret Gilis of Sekotong Bay, then Moyo or Satonda and the Sumbawa reefs into Komodo National Park. Longer routes carry on to Flores, and experienced groups can push to Alor over 8–10 nights.
What certification do we need?
Every route is matched to the group. Warm-up dives at the Gilis suit newer divers; the central Komodo sites carry real current and need experience. Tell us the certification levels in the group and we will build the schedule around them.
