No timetable, no shared cabin
Public fast boats between Bali and the Gilis run fixed schedules, fixed routes and full cabins. A private speedboat removes all three: you pick the departure time, you pick the islands and the order, and the only people aboard are your group and our crew.
Then there is the speed. A planing hull crosses between the three Gilis in minutes rather than the slow motoring of a displacement boat — and over a six-hour day that compounds into far more time in the water.

How long can we book the speedboat for?
Two, four, six or eight hours of private boat time from the North Lombok and Gili area. We shape the route around whatever window you have, which is why it is sold as blocks of time rather than a fixed tour.
How many guests fit?
Six to eight guests on a crewed boat of around twelve metres. Above that, a sail catamaran carrying up to 14 on deck is the better and often cheaper answer per head.
Why not just take the public fast boat?
Public boats run fixed schedules, fixed routes and full cabins. A private charter removes all three. You also gain planing speed between the islands, which over a six-hour day converts directly into more time snorkelling and on beaches.
Can a speedboat do an overnight trip?
No. Cabin space is minimal, so speedboats are day-use only. For anything overnight, move up to a catamaran or phinisi with ensuite cabins.
