Bespoke island hopping

Private island tours

No fixed circuit. You name the islands you want to land on, we work out the order, the tides and the timings — then put a crewed boat under it for the day.

How it differs

You pick the islands

Most island-hopping is sold as a fixed circuit with a fixed running order. This is the opposite: tell us which islands matter to you and what you want to do on each, and the route is built backwards from that.

Within a day's reach of Lombok there are the three northern Gilis, the thirteen islets of Sekotong Bay, and the quiet south coast. With two or three days, Sumbawa opens up.

The method

Four things we work out

Your Shortlist

Which islands matter, and what you want to do on each — swim, walk, eat, photograph.

Tides & Current

The order is set by the water, not by the map. Sandbanks and drifts have windows.

The Right Hull

Speed if the list is long, deck space if the group is large, cabins if it runs overnight.

Honest Timings

Real passage times between real points, so the plan survives contact with the day.

Questions

Before you commit

Ask us directly

How many islands can we do in a day?

Three is comfortable with real time on each. Four is possible on a fast hull if the stops are short. Beyond that you are sightseeing from a moving boat rather than visiting islands.

Can we choose the islands ourselves?

That is the point of this format. Send a shortlist and what you want to do on each, and we build the route and running order around it — adjusted for tide, current and honest passage times.

What does a private island tour cost?

From USD 1,330 per boat per day for a sail catamaran up to 14 guests as of August 2026. Multi-day routes to Sumbawa start near USD 5,200 per charter, and the Komodo crossing from USD 5,900.

Can we land on the small islands?

Most of them, yes — that is what the tender is for. A few are protected or have no safe landing at certain tides, and we will tell you which before the day rather than on it.
