What we actually know

Not a booking engine with a Lombok page. A team that runs these routes, knows which anchorage is sheltered in a northwest wind, and will tell you when the answer is no.

Where it comes from

Local, and operated

Lombok Yacht is part of Juara Holding Group, alongside our sister company Komodo Luxury, which has run the Komodo charter scene since 2015. That is where the fleet access, the crew standards and the operations desk in Labuan Bajo come from.

The value of it is unglamorous: we know which anchorages are sheltered in a northwest wind, when the Kedis sandbank is above water, and how long the Sumbawa leg really takes on a seven-knot hull.

Specifics, not adjectives

Four things we get right

01

Honest Passage Times

Sailing times calculated between actual waypoints on the hull you are chartering, not rounded down to make an itinerary look achievable. A seven-knot phinisi does not cover the Sumbawa leg in an afternoon.

02

Tide And Current

The turtle point at Gili Meno fishes best at slack water. The Kedis sandbank only exists at certain tides. Manta Point has a window. Site order is set by the water, not by the map.

03

Sheltered Anchorages

Which bays work in the northwest monsoon and which become uncomfortable overnight. This is the difference between sleeping well on a 6D5N and not.

04

When To Say No

Four islands in a day on a slow hull, or Raja Ampat outside the transition window. We would rather lose the booking than sell a trip that disappoints.

Focus

Four kinds of charter

Sekotong & Secret Gilis

The quiet southwest, where we operate out of Gili Gede rather than sending boats from the north.

Low-Impact Charter

Responsible turtle and reef practice, waste handling, and anchoring off reef rather than on it.

All-Inclusive Crewed

Fully crewed catamarans and phinisi with chef, tender and gear — no bareboat.

The Komodo Crossing

The eastern route through Sumbawa, run with the same group that operates Komodo year-round.

Questions

Before you commit

Ask us directly

Who actually operates the boats?

Licensed Indonesian crewed-vessel operators, with fleet access through our sister company Komodo Luxury — part of the same group since 2015. That is where crew standards, the Labuan Bajo operations desk and park permit handling come from.

Are you a broker or an operator?

Closer to an operator. We plan the route, hold the vessel and manage the charter end to end with one point of contact, rather than passing you to a third party once the deposit clears.

What makes Lombok knowledge different from Bali knowledge?

Departure point. Lombok sits on the Wallace Line, so routes fan both directions without backtracking. Knowing which Sekotong anchorage is sheltered, or how long the Moyo leg takes at seven knots, is not something a Bali desk carries.

Will you tell us if our plan is unrealistic?

Yes, at proposal stage. Four islands in a day on a slow hull, or a Raja Ampat crossing outside the monsoon transition, will get a straight answer rather than a quotation.

Ask something specific

The best test of a charter team is a specific question. Ask about an anchorage, a tide or a passage time and see what comes back.
