The Express Crossing
From USD 5,900. Best on a motor yacht in the 20–35 m range that can cover the Sumbawa leg quickly. Board at Medana Bay, one Moyo stop, then two days inside the park before Labuan Bajo. A crossing first and a cruise second.
A private crossing from North Lombok through Moyo and the Sumbawa coast into Komodo National Park, finishing at Labuan Bajo. Four to seven nights, whole boat, fully crewed.

North Lombok — Medana Bay or the Gilis — then Moyo Island and the Sumbawa north coast, entering Komodo National Park from the west and disembarking at Labuan Bajo in Flores.
Medana Bay works as the gateway anchorage: a short drive from the Gilis, so you can spend a night on Trawangan or Gili Air before stepping aboard. The reverse routing uses the same waypoints in the opposite order.

All three run in either direction. Whole-boat rates, August 2026.
From USD 5,900. Best on a motor yacht in the 20–35 m range that can cover the Sumbawa leg quickly. Board at Medana Bay, one Moyo stop, then two days inside the park before Labuan Bajo. A crossing first and a cruise second.
Our most requested format and the one we recommend first. The extra day goes to Sumbawa — a full morning at Moyo, an afternoon at a west Sumbawa anchorage, and a slower entry into the park. Two full days inside Komodo.
From USD 9,800. Adds the Secret Gilis at the start and Saleh Bay for seasonal whale sharks. The version where Sumbawa stops being a transit leg and becomes part of the trip.

The boarding anchorage on Lombok's northwest coast, minutes from the Gilis.
Day 1

Waterfalls inland and reef snorkelling along the north coast.
Day 2

The ridge hike at first light for the panorama everyone comes for.
Sunrise

Snorkelling off the pink sand before the day boats arrive from Flores.
Morning

Drift snorkelling with mantas. Seasonal, and never guaranteed.
In season

Flores, and the flights that connect back to Bali the same afternoon.
Final day
Teak schooner with ensuite AC cabins and a large shaded deck. The classic for this route.
Covers the Sumbawa leg fast, which is what makes the 4D3N realistic at all.
Stable, wide-decked and quiet at anchor. Best for groups who want space over pace.
Komodo entry is handled by the operator and itemised separately from the charter rate.
Four to seven nights. The 4D3N is the fastest realistic version and suits a fast motor yacht. The 5D4N is our most requested and gives two full days inside the park. The 6D5N adds the Secret Gilis and Saleh Bay at the start.
Boarding is usually at Medana Bay on Lombok's northwest coast, a short drive from the Gili Islands, so many guests spend a night on Trawangan or Gili Air first. Disembarkation is at Labuan Bajo in Flores, where flights connect back to Bali.
From USD 5,900 per charter for a 4D3N as of August 2026, and from USD 9,800 for the 6D5N. That is the whole boat with crew and chef, not per person. Park fees and flights are separate.
Yes. The same waypoints work in the opposite order, starting in Labuan Bajo and finishing in Lombok. It is a common choice for guests already in Flores.
